Job Summary
Examine vehicles for safety or service needs, prepare complete quotations with flat-rate times and parts pricing, and perform all work outlined in the repair order and approved quotation. Order parts upon authorization, save and tag warranty or insurance parts, and road-test vehicles after any service affecting drivability. Supervise apprentice technicians, report deficiencies to the Service Manager, and attend factory and dealer training while staying current on technical bulletins. Maintain a clean shop environment, ensure customer vehicles are kept pristine, and follow all hazardous waste regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Automotive Service Technician, fully licensed (310T or higher)
- 3-5 years of experience with automotive mechanical operations
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record
- May be required to work on Saturday as per business needs
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed Class A Technician considered an asset
- Strong diagnostic skills and a willingness to learn
- Must be team oriented, hardworking, strong work ethic, punctual with a positive attitude
