Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for heavy-duty trucks and trailers responsible for repairs, basic welding, informing customers/managers of completion times and costs, monitoring job profitability, submitting work orders for invoicing, maintaining inventory and supplies, preparing replacement-part lists, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in compliance with EH&S standards. Requires 2–5 years heavy-duty diesel experience, 310T/310J trade license or apprentice status in Ontario, own tools or ability to purchase, and a valid G-class or AZ license; ability to lift 50+ lbs; standard physical and safety requirements. Familiarity with invoicing, cost tracking, and customer communication is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic experience in heavy-duty industry
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Own tools and/or willingness to purchase tools for job
- Valid G-class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
- Ability to lift parts up to 50+ lbs
