Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for heavy-duty trucks/trailers performing repairs, basic welding, and maintaining service quality. Responsibilities include informing customers/managers of completion times and expenses, submitting work orders for invoicing, maintaining inventory, ensuring safety and environmental health standards, and adhering to standard procedures to maximize profitability while minimizing warranty issues. Requires 2–5 years of diesel/mechanic experience, 310T/310J license or apprenticeship in Ontario, own tools, and a valid G or AZ license. Must be able to handle physical tasks (lifting up to 50+ lbs) and work in a collaborative, customer-service oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
