Job Summary

Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Duty Trucks responsible for repairing medium to heavy duty trucks and trailers to customer and industry specifications. Role includes basic welding, communicating completion times and service costs, monitoring job profitability and warranty minimization, submitting work orders for invoicing, maintaining inventory, and upholding environmental, health and safety standards. Requires 2–5 years of heavy-duty diesel experience, 310T/310J license or apprenticeship in Ontario, own tools or ability to procure them, and a valid G-class or AZ license. Pay ranges $35.00-$45.00 per hour; benefits include health/dental/vision, vacation, holidays, retirement plan, boot allowance, and EAP.

Required Qualifications

  • Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry
  • Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
  • Possess own tools or willingness to purchase tools
  • Valid G-class driver’s license and/or AZ with good driving record
