Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for heavy-duty trucks and trailers (310T) in Mesa, AZ. Responsibilities include performing repairs to customer vehicles and trailers, basic welding, informing customers/managers of completion times and costs, monitoring job profitability to minimize warranty claims and rework, submitting work orders for invoicing, maintaining inventory and supplies, and adhering to environmental, health and safety standards. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, tools as needed, and a valid G-class or AZ license. Likely pay is experience-based with hourly rates advertised as $35.00–$45.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
