Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Duty Trucks responsibilities include performing repairs to customer vehicles and trailers, basic welding, informing customers/managers of completion times and costs, monitoring job profitability, submitting work orders for invoicing, maintaining inventory and supplies, and preparing replacement part lists. Candidates should have 2–5 years of heavy-duty diesel experience, hold a 310T/310J license or be an apprentice, own (or be willing to buy) tools, be able to lift 50+ lbs, and hold a valid G-class or AZ license. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and collaboration in a results-driven shop environment with competitive pay and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
