Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for heavy-duty trucks and trailers responsible for repairing customer vehicles, performing basic welding, informing customers of completion times and costs, monitoring job profitability, submitting work orders, maintaining inventory and parts, and adhering to safety standards. Requires 2–5 years of heavy-duty diesel experience, 310T/310J license (Ontario), own tools, and ability to lift 50+ lbs; valid G or AZ license.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G-class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
