Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Duty Trucks responsible for repairing medium to heavy duty trucks and trailers to customer and industry-standard specifications. Includes basic welding, communicating service times and costs, monitoring job profitability, submitting work orders, maintaining inventory and parts lists, and upholding safety and environmental standards. Requires 2–5 years of heavy-duty diesel experience and an Ontario license/apprentice certification (310T/310J); must have own tools or willingness to purchase; valid G or AZ license; capable of lifting 50+ lbs. Pay ranges from $35.00-$45.00 per hour, with benefits and competitive group coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
