Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for heavy-duty trucks and trailers performing repairs, basic welding, and job-site duties. Responsibilities include informing customers/managers of completion times and expenses, submitting work orders for invoicing, maintaining inventory and supplies, and adhering to environmental, health and safety standards. Requires 2–5 years of heavy-duty diesel experience, relevant licensed apprenticeships (310T/310J), own tools or ability to procure them, and a valid G-class or AZ license. Pay is experience-based ($35.00–$45.00/hour) with benefits such as health, dental, vision, vacation, retirement plan, boot allowance, and virtual health services. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50+ lbs and working in potentially dusty or noisy environments.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
