Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for Heavy Duty Trucks and Trailers in Philadelphia, PA: repair medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers, perform basic welding, inform customers/managers of costs and completion times, monitor job profitability, submit work orders, maintain inventory, prepare replacement part lists, maintain clean, safe work areas, and comply with EH&S standards. Requires 2–5 years of diesel mechanic experience, a registered 310T/310J license or apprenticeship, tool ownership or purchase readiness, and a valid G or AZ license. Pay ranges from $35.00–$45.00 per hour with full benefits and holiday/vacation entitlement.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic experience in heavy-duty industry
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Own tools or willingness to purchase tools
- Valid G-class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
