Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Duty Trucks: Repair diesel trucks and trailers, perform basic welding, inform customer/manager of completion times and costs, monitor profitability, submit work orders for invoicing, maintain inventory, prepare replacement parts lists, keep area clean, and adhere to safety standards. Requires 2–5 years of heavy-duty diesel experience (apprenticeship 2+ years), valid Ontario 310T/310J certification or apprenticeship, own tools or willingness to purchase, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and a valid G-class or AZ license. On-site role in Raleigh, NC with base pay $35–$45 per hour; benefits include health/dental/vision, paid vacation, holidays, retirement plan, boot allowance, and virtual health services.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
