Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Responsibilities include repairing customer vehicles and trailers, basic welding, informing customers/managers of completion times and costs, monitoring profitability, submitting work orders for invoicing, maintaining inventory, and ensuring adherence to EH&S standards. Requires 2–5 years in the heavy-duty diesel field, 310T/310J license, own tools or ability to procure, and a valid G or AZ license. Pay ranges $35.00-$45.00 per hour with benefits and a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Valid G-class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
