Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic position for Heavy Duty Trucks and trailers with Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited- Transaxle. Responsible for repairing medium to heavy-duty trucks, performing basic welding, informing customers/managers of completion times and costs, submitting work orders for invoicing, maintaining inventory, and ensuring environmental, health, and safety standards. Requires 2–5 years of diesel mechanic experience, Ontario 310T/310J certification or apprenticeship, own tools (or willingness to purchase), ability to lift 50+ lbs, and a valid G- or AZ license. Pay ranges from $35 to $45 per hour, with benefits including health/dental/vision, vacation and holidays, retirement plan, boot allowance, and EAP.
Required Qualifications
- Two to Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
