Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Duty Trucks: Repair medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers to customer and industry standards; perform basic welding; inform customer/manager of completion times and expenses; monitor job profitability; submit work orders; maintain inventories and parts; uphold safety and environmental standards.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
