Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic - Heavy Duty Trucks (310T) for Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities include performing repairs to customer vehicles and trailers, basic welding, informing customers/managers of completion times and expenses, monitoring job profitability, submitting work orders for invoicing, maintaining inventory and supplies, and ensuring adherence to environmental, health and safety standards. Candidate should have 2-5 years diesel truck experience, possess a 310T/310J license (or be an apprentice), own or be willing to purchase tools, and hold a valid G-class or AZ license with a good driving record. Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
