Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Responsibilities include repairing customer vehicles and trailers, basic welding, informing customers/managers of completion times and costs, monitoring profitability and minimizing warranty claims, submitting work orders for invoicing, maintaining inventory and supplies, and preparing replacement-part lists. Required qualifications include 2–5 years of diesel mechanic experience in heavy-duty trucking, a licensed or apprenticed 310T/310J with skilled trades in Ontario, owning or willingness to purchase tools, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and a valid G-class or AZ license. Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
