Job Summary
Repair medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers to customer and industry-standard specifications; perform basic welding; inform customer/manager of completion times and expenses; monitor job profitability while maintaining quality; submit work orders for invoicing; maintain inventory and supplies; prepare lists of required replacement parts; keep work area clean and adhere to safety/environmental standards.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic experience within the heavy-duty industry
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job
- Valid G-class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
