Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for Heavy Duty Trucks at Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited: repairing medium to heavy duty trucks and trailers per customer and industry specifications; responsibilities include basic welding, informing customers of completion times and costs, monitoring job profitability, submitting work orders for invoicing, maintaining inventory, and adhering to safety standards. Requirements include 2-5 years of diesel mechanic experience, Ontario 310T/310J license or apprenticeship, own tools or willingness to purchase, and a valid G-class or AZ license. Pay is hourly $35-$45 with benefits and a focus on service and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
