Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Responsibilities include performing repairs to customer vehicles and trailers, basic welding, informing customers/managers of completion times and costs, monitoring job profitability, submitting work orders, maintaining inventory and supplies, preparing replacement-part lists, and adhering to health/safety/environmental standards. Requires 2–5 years of diesel-mechanic experience, a valid 310T/310J license or apprenticeship, own tools (or willingness to buy), and a valid G-class or AZ license. Work is in Madison, WI with in-person duties.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Valid G-class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
