Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for Heavy Duty Trucks at Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited. Repair medium to heavy duty trucks and trailers to customer and industry specifications; duties include repairs, basic welding, submitting work orders, maintaining parts and inventory, and ensuring safety and quality while monitoring job profitability. Requires 2–5 years of heavy-duty diesel experience, Ontario 310T/310J licensing or apprenticeship, own tools or ability to procure, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and valid G or AZ license. Compensation based on experience ($35–$45/hour), with benefits including health, dental, vision, vacation, holidays, retirement plan, boot allowance, and virtual health services.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
