Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic - Heavy Duty Trucks responsible for repairing medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers to customer and industry-standard specifications. Responsibilities include performing repairs, basic welding, informing customers/managers of completion times and expenses, monitoring job profitability, submitting work orders, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safety and environmental standards. Requires 2-5 years of heavy-duty diesel experience, a licensed 310T/310J or apprenticeship in Ontario, own tools or willingness to purchase, and a valid G-class or AZ license. Pay is based on experience ($35.00-45.00 hourly).
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
