Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic sought to repair medium to heavy-duty trucks and all models of trailers per customer and industry specifications. Responsibilities include performing repairs, basic welding, communicating completion times and costs, monitoring profitability, submitting work orders, maintaining inventory, preparing replacement parts lists, and upholding health, safety, and environmental standards. Requires 2–5 years of heavy-duty diesel experience, a licensed 310T/310J or active apprenticeship, own tools or willingness to acquire them, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and a valid G-class/AZ license. Pay is $35.00-$45.00 per hour with benefits including health/dental/vision, vacation, retirement plan, and sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
