Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic role performing repairs on customer vehicles and trailers, basic welding, and communicating service estimates and completion times. Responsibilities include monitoring job profitability, submitting work orders, maintaining inventory and supplies, preparing replacement part lists, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment in accordance with EH&S standards. Candidate should have 2–5 years of heavy-duty diesel experience, hold a 310T/310J licensed or apprentice status in Ontario, own tools (or be prepared to purchase), and hold a valid G or AZ license. Physical duties include lifting up to 50+ lbs; work involves exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, and noise.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
