Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic responsible for repairing medium to heavy duty trucks and trailers to customer and industry-standard specifications; perform basic welding; inform customer/manager of completion times and expenses; monitor profitability; submit work orders; maintain inventory; ensure safety and environmental standards; candidates should have 2–5 years of diesel experience, a 310T/310J license (Ontario), own tools, and valid G or AZ license; physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs; quiet environment includes exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, and noise; pay is based on experience ($35–$45/hour).
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job
- Valid G-class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
