Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Responsibilities include repairing customer vehicles and trailers, basic welding, informing customer/manager of completion times and costs, monitoring job profitability, submitting work orders for invoicing, maintaining inventory and supplies, preparing replacement parts lists, and ensuring a clean, safe work area in compliance with environmental, health and safety standards. Candidates should have 2-5 years of diesel mechanic experience, be licensed or apprenticing 310T/310J with skilled trades in Ontario, own or willingness to purchase tools, be able to lift 50+ lbs, and hold a valid G-class or AZ license.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic experience within the heavy-duty industry
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
