Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for Heavy-Duty Trucks/Trailers in a Canada-based company with a US location: perform repairs on medium to heavy-duty trucks and all trailer models, basic welding, communicate service times and costs, monitor job profitability, submit work orders for invoicing, manage inventory and parts, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and adhere to EH&S standards. Requires 2–5 years of diesel mechanic experience, 310T/310J license or apprenticeship, own tools (or willingness to purchase), and a valid G/AZ license. Pay ranges $35–$45 per hour depending on experience; benefits include health, dental, vision, vacation, retirement plan, and more.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
