Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic responsibilities include repairing medium to heavy duty trucks and all trailer models to customer/industry specifications, basic welding, informing on completion times and costs, monitoring job profitability, submitting work orders, maintaining inventory and parts lists, and complying with environmental, health and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
