Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Duty Trucks position with Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited focusing on repairing medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers to customer and industry specifications. Responsibilities include performing repairs, welding, communicating completion times and costs, monitoring job profitability and minimizing warranty work, submitting work orders for invoicing, maintaining inventory and parts lists, and adhering to safety/environmental standards. Requires 2–5 years of heavy-duty diesel experience, 310T/310J apprenticeship or license in Ontario, own tools or willingness to purchase, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and valid G-class or AZ license. Pay ranges from $35.00 to $45.00 per hour, with benefits such as health, dental, vision, vacations, holidays, retirement plan, and boot allowance.
Required Qualifications
- Two to Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G-class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
