Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic - Heavy Duty Trucks for Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited. Repair medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers to customer and industry-standard specifications; perform basic welding; inform customer/manager of completion times, services expenses, and possible changes; monitor profitability and minimize warranty claims; submit work orders for invoicing; maintain inventory and ensure environmental, health and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Valid G-class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
