Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for heavy-duty trucks and trailers with 310T/310J certification requirements; perform repairs, welding, invoicing, parts planning, and maintain safety/quality standards in a customer-focused shop environment. Responsibilities include repairing customer vehicles and trailers, basic welding, informing customers about times and costs, monitoring profitability of jobs, submitting work orders, maintaining inventory, preparing replacement parts lists, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Requires 2–5 years’ diesel mechanic experience in heavy-duty industry, a licensed or apprentice 310T/310J with Ontario skilled trades, own tools (or willingness to purchase), and a valid G-class and/or AZ license with a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic experience within the heavy-duty industry
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess own tools and/or willingness to purchase tools required for the job
- Valid G-class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
