Job Summary
Diesel Mechanic for Heavy Duty Trucks and Trailers in Las Vegas, NV. Responsibilities include repairing customer vehicles and trailers, basic welding, informing customers/managers of completion times and service expenses, monitoring profitability and minimizing warranty/re-work, submitting work orders for invoicing, maintaining inventory and supplies, preparing replacement-part lists, and maintaining a clean work area while adhering to EH&S standards. Requires 2–5 years of diesel-mechanic experience in heavy-duty trucking (apprenticeship 2+ years), a registered 310T/310J license, own tools or willingness to purchase, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and a valid G-class or AZ driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
