Job Summary

Diesel/Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic responsible for repairing medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers to customer and industry-standard specifications. Responsibilities include performing repairs, basic welding, informing customers/managers of completion times and costs, monitoring job profitability, submitting work orders for invoicing, maintaining inventory and supplies, preparing replacement parts lists, and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. Requires 2–5 years of diesel mechanic experience, Ontario 310T/310J license or apprenticeship, own tools or ability to purchase tools, and a valid G-class or AZ license. Pay is $35.00–$45.00 per hour with benefits including health, dental, vision, vacation, retirement plan, and other programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
  • Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
  • Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job
  • Valid G-class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
