Job Summary
Perform repairs to customer vehicles and trailers, including basic welding functions, adhering to industry-standard specifications. Monitor job profitability and minimize warranty claims while submitting work orders for invoicing and maintaining inventory. Prepare replacement part lists and clean the work area, ensuring all environmental, health, and safety standards are met. Lift and move heavy parts exceeding 50 lbs throughout the day in an active environment exposed to dust, fumes, and noise. Valid G-class license required; own tools needed or willingness to purchase.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
