Job Summary
Perform repairs to customer vehicles and trailers, including basic welding functions, adhering to specific customer and industry-standard specifications. Monitor job profit/loss to maximize profitability while minimizing warranty claims and re-work, then submit work orders for invoicing. Maintain inventory, prepare replacement part lists, and keep the work area clean while following all environmental, health, and safety standards. This role requires a valid G-class driver's license, experience with heavy-duty trucks, and the ability to lift parts exceeding 50 lbs. Compensation ranges from $35.00 to $45.00 based on experience, with a sign-on bonus available. Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
