Job Summary
Perform repairs to customer vehicles and trailers, including basic welding functions, adhering to industry-standard specifications. Monitor job profitability to minimize warranty claims and re-work while submitting work orders for invoicing. Maintain inventory, prepare replacement part lists, and clean the work area while upholding all environmental and safety standards. Lift heavy parts exceeding 50 lbs and navigate an environment with dust, fumes, and temperature variances. Candidates must hold a valid G-class driver's license and possess 2–5 years of heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience.
Required Qualifications
- Two - Five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience within the heavy-duty industry (apprenticeship 2plus years)
- Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario
- Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities
- Ability to lift part up to 50+ lbs.
- Valid G- class driver's license and/or AZ with good driving record
