Job Summary

The Customer Service Manager is responsible for providing and maintaining high standards of customer service in the store’s front-end operations. This position supervises and directs all front-end activities and operations, including greeting customers within 10 feet, assisting cashiers, maintaining 100 @100 policy, opening additional registers during busy periods, creating and enforcing front-end work schedules, and assisting with various sales transactions (Accounts Receivable, Food Stamps, WIC, coupons, checks, gift certificates/cards). It also involves processing Western Union and Money Orders, communicating pricing issues and POS problems to management, handling refunds and cash handling requests, enforcing dress code, and ensuring perishables are handled promptly. The role requires exceptional customer service, prior cashier/front-end experience, adaptability during high volume, basic math, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.
