Job Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing maintenance activities within the plant, ensuring safety and efficiency of equipment and facilities. Key responsibilities include managing and developing a team of maintenance supervisors and technicians, developing preventive maintenance programs, maintaining equipment performance records, implementing safety protocols, and managing the maintenance budget. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry, along with strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in maintenance management software is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within the food manufacturing industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of an engineering background is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and possesses the ability to develop interdepartmental relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and other relevant computer applications.
