Job Summary
Trim, inspect, and prepare food products to meet quality, safety, and production standards while maintaining efficient workflow on the trim line. Use knives and cutting tools safely, accurately, and efficiently to identify quality issues and minimize waste. Follow all safety procedures, knife safety practices, GMPs, and HACCP requirements with zero or minimal safety incidents. Work in a wet and cold environment for 8 to 12 hour shifts, lifting up to 75 lb. and pushing or pulling pallets exceeding 1,000 lbs. Stand on feet for the duration of the shift and embrace the SQE Work Safety Program. Demonstrate dependable attendance, punctuality, and strong teamwork skills to support overall production goals.
Required Qualifications
- Be physically capable of bending, lifting up to 75 lb., and stooping repetitively
- Be physically capable to push and/or pull pallets and product trees in conjunction with assigned associates in excess of 1,000 lbs.
- Stand on feet for 8 to 12 hour shifts
- Endure a wet and cold work environment
