Job Summary
Provides direct patient care as a Travel Physical Therapist in Home Health, evaluating and treating patients with disabilities, injuries, or diseases using prescribed physical methods. Designs and adjusts treatment programs to achieve goals, documents patient status and progress, participates in quality improvement activities, and collaborates with an inter-disciplinary team. Requires a Master's Degree, New York State physical therapy license (and any needed certifications), 1-3 years of relevant experience, and, per posting, radiologic technology credentials including NYS licensure as a Radiologic Technologist and ARRT registration. Schedule is Monday–Friday with weekend rotation; location includes Danbury, CT with travel. Responsibilities emphasize evaluation techniques, patient tolerance, emergency procedures, and adherence to department policies.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Current License to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program, required.
- New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration, required.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience performing radiologic exams, required.
