Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for shipping and receiving goods, ensuring proper stacking, verifying shipment details, and reporting discrepancies. Requires proficiency in moving products using equipment like forklifts, handling inventory, and adhering to safety procedures. Candidates must be able to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures. Experience with high reach forklifts and warehouse operations is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs with assistance occasionally
- Good arithmetic and reading skills
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with others
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations
- Previous high reach forklift training
