Job Summary
Retrieve stock to fill customer orders, process shipments, and oversee general warehouse organization. Select and package products based on orders, using technology to sort, scan, and prepare items while surveying for damage. Operate automated systems, forklifts, and pallet jacks to move materials and stock shelves. Compare invoices against received items and requisition merchandise from suppliers. Maintain a clean, safe work area and implement safety protocols. Answers customer questions regarding shipments and deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Basic math & computer skills
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and great work ethic whether they are working with others or working unsupervised
- Must be in good physical condition
- Must be able to stand and/or bend for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must have good hand/eye coordination
- Must be comfortable using equipment and elevating to heights ranging from 18ft to 30ft
- Must be flexible – OT and weekend are required as needed
- Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including: Hand trucks, Pallet jacks, Forklifts – Stand-up/Sit-down, Order/Cherry picker
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Desired Qualifications
- Bendi Forklift experience a plus
- Turret Truck experience a plus
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in warehouse environment preferred
