Job Summary
Set up, load, and operate tube laser-cutting machines to fabricate high-quality steel parts according to precise blueprints and specifications. Cut a wide variety of customer parts in various sizes, shapes, and metal thicknesses while ensuring finished products meet Lou-Rich standards. Maintain equipment and follow safety procedures to guarantee efficient and accurate production. Work closely with the Engineering team to analyze test results and offer insights that influence quality benchmarks. This 2nd shift role supports Lou-Rich's mission as a contract manufacturer serving Fortune 500 OEMs by delivering the finest possible parts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- One to two years of experience working in the actual construction of laser devices
- Ability to accurately read drawings and specifications
- Ability to learn at a fast pace
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating machinery or working with metal
