Job Summary
Operate wood preserving equipment safely and efficiently, transferring material into and out of the treating cylinder while ensuring all wood fiber and solutions meet specific treating requirements. Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklists, perform general preventive maintenance, and dispose of hazardous materials in strict accordance with company policy. Prepare for the daily treating schedule by ensuring rough material is ready and available, while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Participate in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings, and perform other duties as required. Must hold a high school diploma or GED, possess at least three months of related experience, and successfully complete state licensing and forklift driver licensing processes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma/GED
- Minimum 3 months of experience in related areas
- Demonstrate working knowledge of hazardous waste and hazardous material handling procedures and practices
- Successfully complete State Licensing requirements
- Successfully complete Forklift Driver licensing process
- Must be at least 18 years of age
