Job Summary
The Test Lab Apprentice will work on 2nd and 3rd shifts performing testing on production programs using hydraulic and pneumatic test stations. Training includes learning to operate measurement devices (pressure gauges, calipers, gage blocks) and equipment such as the Thermal Chamber, Vacuum Pumps, Arbor Press, Optical Comparator, and Druck Pressure Regulator. The role requires making clean hand-offs between shifts, reporting issues safely and promptly, and achieving production standards while using FlexNet and Epicor.
Required Qualifications
- Must perform testing on production programs that utilize hydraulic and pneumatic test stations
- Must learn how to use measurement devices (pressure gauges, calipers, gage blocks)
- Must learn the operation of equipment such as the Thermal Chamber, Vacuum Pumps, Arbor Press, Optical Comparator, and Druck Pressure Regulator
- Must make clean and effective hand-offs from shift-to-shift
- Must meet production standards, navigate FlexNet, and effectively use Epicor
- Meets safety and efficiency expectations
