Job Summary
Install and terminate wiring onto newly assembled complex electrical systems, ensuring all work meets wiring diagrams and schematics for low and medium voltage applications. Wire various control panel products by cutting, stripping, crimping, and connecting AWG gages with high accuracy per assembly drawings. Interpret electrical schematics and install electrical components while maintaining effective relationships with shop employees to drive product improvement. Make recommendations to management on manufacturing processes to promote lean manufacturing and assist in other areas as needed. Work the 345p - 215am M - Th shift in Champlin.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
- Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish daily tasks
- Technical knowledge and ability to read various engineering and manufacturing documents including Bill of Materials, assembly drawings, assembly instructions, wiring schematics and diagrams
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven experience in wiring electrical components and systems
