Job Summary
2nd Shift Supervisor responsible for leading warehouse staff on the second shift, overseeing receiving, storing, picking, and shipping, training and evaluating employees, and ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency. Responsibilities include supervising/mentoring staff, scheduling, resolving conflicts, maintaining inventory accuracy with cycle counts, implementing process improvements, coordinating with other departments, enforcing safety protocols per OSHA and company guidelines, and using WMS to track KPIs and generate reports.
Required Qualifications
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills and Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
