Job Summary
Lead production employees during assigned shifts while supervising operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to GMP and SOPs. Coach and mentor team members to drive performance, resolve production issues quickly to minimize downtime, and maintain strict environmental, health, and safety standards. Monitor production metrics to help achieve operational efficiency targets and ensure schedules are met. Step in to assist with tasks like packing, stacking, or operating equipment when needed. Coordinate resources to keep production running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive results on the production floor
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
- Associate degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Equivalent production leadership experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to climb, kneel, crawl, and perform repetitive production tasks
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
- A “roll-up-your-sleeves” leadership style
