2nd Shift Supervisor

Supervise and coordinate activities of paint line, assembly, and welding workers while applying in-depth knowledge of production methods to ensure quality compliant end products. Communicate job expectations to direct reports, plan, monitor, and appraise results, and coach, counsel, and discipline employees to enforce company systems and policies. Maintain optimum staff levels through timely selection and training, identify developmental opportunities, and foster cooperation within and between departments. Monitor workflow steps, recognize variables, assign personnel and resources, seek cost reductions, and facilitate corrections to equipment malfunctions. Complete production plans by scheduling capable personnel, establish priorities, monitor progress, and report department process flow on shift production summaries. Maintain safe and clean work environments by educating staff on equipment use and OSHA safety policies. Requires high school diploma, minimum five years assembly/machinist experience, two years supervisor experience, reliable transportation, and a salary of $63K-90K/year.
