Job Summary
Load and unload trucks accurately while staging orders and checking product for loading accuracy. Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely, ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and HACCP policies. Complete daily distribution paperwork including receiving logs and load sheets, and notify management of damaged or suspect product. Perform sanitation tasks for trailers and communicate with the shift leader regarding product levels and quality issues. Assist customers with will-call pick-ups and perform other duties as assigned. This temp-to-perm opportunity in Grand Prairie offers $18 hourly pay for experienced operators on the 2nd shift (5 PM to finish) working Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and/or understand written and/or verbal policy, instruction and direction in English
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift and manual/electric pallet jacks
- Ability to perform mathematical tasks required
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with loading and unloading trucks
- Previous experience with technologically advanced order picking system
