Job Summary
Operate and maintain Adler and Miller Weld Master industrial sewing machines to assemble fabric for ducting production. Assist in production adjustments with industry experts while helping the team manage workload and time. Perform various inventory control tasks including paperwork and computer-driven transactions. Maintain professionalism and display a strong work ethic while executing any other assigned proprietary duties. Work the 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM shift, requiring prolonged standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs in adherence to safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- MUST BE AVAILABLE T WORK 2:30PM - 11:00pm
- Proficiency in reading gauges, using tape measures, and read specifications
- High attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Active listening skills
- Prolonged standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting – 100% daily (subject to change daily)
- Assist in lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 50 lbs. in adherence with Midwest Hose Safety Standards
- Ability to learn and think quickly
- Energetic, outgoing, and positive attitude
- Good organizational skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Team-player
- Ability to prioritize and manage time
- Regularly required to talk and listen; sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to meet the physical demands typical in a warehouse environment including but not limited to grasping and fine manipulations with hands, reaching, squatting, climbing, activities working around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to light dust and fumes
- Commitment to work additional hours as needed
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Manufacturing experience (required)
- Background check
- Drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years industrial sewing (highly preferred but not required)
- Bilingual Spanish & English (highly preferred but not required)
